PropFirmsTraders compares futures prop firms so you can pick the right one before you pay for an evaluation. We track the rules, payouts and discount codes of 17 firms, and we keep them current.

Why this site exists

Most traders who fail a prop firm evaluation don't fail because of a bad trade. They fail because of a rule they didn't know about: a trailing drawdown that moved against open profit, a consistency rule that cancelled a payout, a position held one minute past the cutoff.

Each firm explains its rules in its own words, spread across help center articles that change without notice. Comparing two firms properly can take an evening. Comparing seventeen is a part-time job.

So we do that job. Every firm page here puts the same facts in the same place, so you can compare drawdown types, daily loss limits, consistency rules, payout schedules and total cost side by side.

Who runs it

PropFirmsTraders is run by Jozef, who also runs @PropFirmProfits on X, where he breaks down one prop firm's rules every day.

I've been trading futures since 2023, mostly NQ, ES and gold (GC) during the New York session. I've taken evaluations with Bulenox, Tradeify and Apex, passed 8 of them and failed more than I'd like to admit. Most of those failures came from rules, not trades, which is why I built this site.

The site is published in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, because good information about prop firms is hard to find outside English.

How we review prop firms

  1. Rules come from the firm's own pages. We read each firm's official rules and help center articles, not forum posts or rumors. When two official pages disagree, we say so instead of guessing.
  2. Every firm is compared on the same points. Account sizes, drawdown type (trailing, end-of-day or static), daily loss limit, consistency rules, minimum trading days, payout schedule, profit split, activation fees and subscriptions, news trading and overnight holds.
  3. We count the total cost, not the sticker price. An evaluation that looks cheap can end up costing more once activation fees, monthly fees and resets are added.
  4. We date our checks. Each firm page shows when its rules and code were last verified.

How we check discount codes

Discount codes expire and change all the time, and expired codes are the most common complaint about coupon sites. We test the codes we list at checkout and re-check them every week. If a code stops working, we update or remove it.

Found a code that doesn't work? Email us at hello@propfirmstraders.com and we'll fix it.

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy an evaluation through one of them, the firm pays us a commission. It never changes the price you pay, and often our code lowers it.

Commissions do not decide our ratings or rankings. Firms cannot pay to be listed, ranked higher or reviewed more favorably. Some of the firms we compare don't have an affiliate program with us at all, and they are rated the same way as the rest. Full details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.

What we are not

We are not a prop firm, a broker or a financial adviser, and nothing on this site is investment advice. Trading futures carries a real risk of loss, and most evaluation accounts are not passed. Read each firm's current rules on its own website before you buy.
